When you stay at our short term accommodation in the leafy Eastern suburbs, you’ll be surrounded by some of Melbourne’s best attractions. There’s so many, you’ll want to extend your stay so you can see everything! Some of the suburbs we are close to include Ringwood, Lilydale, Bayswater, Kilsyth and Boronia.
In addition, as we are only 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD you can also take in some city shopping or tourist sites as well.

Being located in Ringwood, makes Eastland easily accessible from our Croydon villas. This Premier Shopping Centre is a mecca for food, fashion and family-oriented experiences.
Visiting the award winning wineries in the Yarra Valley is a popular day outing for our guests. With so many to choose from you will be spoilt for choice. This includes Medhurst Wines, Giant Steps Cellar Door and Kelly Brook Winery
There is so much to do in the Dandenong Ranges. From walks through the forest, taking a train trip on the famous Puffing Billy to visiting the many quaint villages, including Sassafras and Olinda you won’t run out of interesting things to do.
Bungunyah Apartments is conveniently located within 5kms of both hospitals.

The Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley are renowned for the quality of their wedding reception venues. This includes Bramleigh Wedding Receptions and Chateau Wyuna Receptions

- Golf Courses
There are several golf courses close to Bungunyah Apartments. This includes the Dorset Golf Course. This is a public golf club. It is one of Melbourne’s most scenic golf courses as it has beautiful views of the Dandenong Ranges.
The Yering Meadows Golf Club (formerly the Croydon Golf Club) is one of the the premier clubs in the Eastern suburbs. It is nestled in the Yarra Valley and is renowned as a friendly club with excellent facilities.
- Hot Air Ballooning
Hot air ballooning is one of the best ways to see the spectacular Yarra Valley landscape. Our Croydon accommodation is conveniently located for early morning flights. Some hot air ballooning companies that operate our of the Yarra Valley include Global Ballooning, Go Wild Ballooning and Yarra Valley Ballooning
- Bike Paths
Our Croydon accommodation is surrounded by many bike paths for the recreational bike rider. This includes the long distance Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail, which now includes a section to Yering. Other bike paths include the Eastlink Trail as well as the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail. The Tarralla Creek Trail is another trail close by that is suitable for the whole family.
